Life and T20

life and t20T20 has been the heart throb of world wide cricket lovers ever since the time of its inception. Entertainment is delivered in immense amounts to the spectators, whether it is outstanding fielding, explosive batting, well crafted bowling, everything is delivered by the game. The season 2 of the IPL had presented loads of pleasure to the spectators and no wonder they are eager to watch the twenty twenty world cup. Let us compare the parallels to the game and our life.
The game is short and interesting:
Our life is also short and interesting similar to T20. Life span of humans has reduced dramatically like the overs in T20 matches. All the desires should be fulfilled within this period. Like the power play our early life is also restricted with infancy and studies. If discipline can be maintained, random runs can be made and similarly our life can also become successful by discipline.
Balls wasted would be regretted:
Every ball is precious, if a batsman wastes balls, he would regret it because the required rate will increase and pressure to cope up with it will increase. Similarly, wasting our time and not completing things within scheduled time will increase the pressure of life to an insurmountable limit. Completing tasks within scheduled time is the secret to be the winner of the match of life.
Misfortune strikes:
Even the greatest players are struck by misfortune, rain being an unprecedented element. The hopes to reach to the next level may be washed away by the rain. Similarly in life, certain things are not under our control.
Success is dependant on environment:
Good and successful teams topple up because they cannot come up with the environmental and climatic conditions of the venue. Some players feel uncomfortable and fall sick, but the players who adapt themselves well come up as a winner. Similarly, our working environment may not be suitable for us, but to survive we need to adapt to it, quickly and efficiently.
Strategic time out:
Strategic breaks are included in the course of the game. The time is utilized very efficiently by the team management and the course of action of their team for the next half is properly planned. Pitfalls in the team during first half are discussed and a better strategy for second half is laid out. The game of life also gives us a strategic break to realize our faults. No matter if the first half of our life was a complete failure; we can still realize our mistakes to change our life completely.
